The garden ministry is an opportunity to sow seeds for the garden, seeds for the soul, love our neighbors, build a sustainable future, and Glorify God.  The ministry is home to a food security and nutrition demonstration project.  The project aims to increase knowledge of growing edible gardens to help end hunger and food insecurity, and to empower people to choose healthy and sustainable foods through education and participation. The garden is a living classroom used to research, experiment, cultivate, and demonstrate a variety of gardening methods to grow edible produce, herbs, spices, edible and beneficial flowers, and medicinal plants both in small spaces.  Important components of the ministry are spiritual support, sharing what we grow with neighbors and those in need, seed saving, virtual education documentation, and fundraisers to benefit our international food security and nutrition sensitive agriculture program.
